Your data, your call.
You can delete your ScoutLocal account and the personal data associated with it at any time. Here is how, what is removed, and how long it takes.
ScoutLocal is a product of Novalyse LLC. This page explains how to delete your account and personal data from ScoutLocal.
Delete your account in the app
Open the ScoutLocal app, go to the Profile tab, open account settings, and choose Delete account. You will be asked to confirm. This permanently removes your account and associated personal data.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, email support@novalyse.com from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my ScoutLocal data." We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request.
What gets deleted
Your account, profile and onboarding details, saved favorites, event suggestions, reports, feedback, push token, and other personal data tied to your account are deleted.
What we may keep
We may retain limited records where required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes — for example, business subscription payment records held by our payment processor — and de-identified or aggregated information that can no longer be linked to you. Business listing information that exists independently of your personal account (for example, a publicly listed local business) may remain in the directory.
How long it takes
In-app deletion is immediate for your account. Any remaining copies in backups or connected services are removed within 30 days. We will confirm by email when an emailed request is complete.
